Worst service received in my 47 yrs of living - Inspiron 710 m

I first called on Feb 26 and was kept on the phone for over 2 hrs. Tech support was to have an in home service rep schedule a repair visit. I had not heard from them so I called again on 3/27 and was kept on the phone from 7:30pm - 9:10 pm. The last rep placed me on hold at 8:15 and never returned to the phone. That was after she told me to get a flat head screw driver to open the computer up. If I wanted to go into that field of work I would have. Instead, I chose to pay for an in home extended warranty that Dell will not honor

As a customer, I have read Dell's warranty procedures. Their service plan (which is one of the best in the industry) does require the customer to be able to assist the tech by performing some very minor actions, such as removing a cover, pressing a key, etc. It is ridiculous to assume that Dell will send someone out to remove the cover from your system for you, don't you think? If you don't agree with their tech support procedures, buy another product, I guess...

Dell has the worst customer service....

Dell need to emphasize on providing a good customer service if they want to stay in business.

nothing against India but it is true that indian lack in good communication skills.
